Jackson Browne returns to Tanglewood for the first time in 15 years, on Thursday, July 4 at 7 p.m. to perform in the Shed, with fireworks following the concert. Jackson Browne last performed at Tanglewood with Bonnie Raitt on August 24, 1998. He made his first Tanglewood appearance on July 31, 1973. Jackson will be joined on this show by special guest opener Sara Watkins from the band Nickel Creek. Fireworks will follow the concert. Tickets for Jackson Browne on July 4 range from $23.50 to $79.50. Tickets are on sale at www.tanglewood.org, by calling 888-266-1200 and at the Tanglewood Box Offices.

Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion, and personal politics.
