After learning guitar at the age of 12, William Royce Scaggs, better known as Boz Scaggs met Steve Miller. Scaggs would become the vocalist for Miller's band, The Marksmen. In 1976, Boz hooked up with session musicians who would later form the group Toto. They recorded the smash hit album Silk Degrees. The album reached number 2 on the U.S. charts and number 1 in a number of countries across the world, spawning three hit singles: "Lowdown", "Lido Shuffle", and "What Can I Say", as well as the standard "We're All Alone".

"I'm at a point where I'm having a lot of fun with music, more than ever," Boz Scaggs says about his spellbinding new album, A Fool to Care. "It's like I'm just going wherever I want to go with it." The inspirational heart of those songs lies in the sounds of Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma that played such a vital role in shaping Scaggs' musical sensibility, beginning with the seductive New Orleans rumble of the title track.

Boz Scaggs will perform all his hit songs and more at the River Center Theater in Baton Rouge. Tickets go onsale Friday, March 6th at 10 am at the River Center box office and all Ticketmaster locations. Ticket prices range from $50 - $85.
