The Urban Fitness League (UFL), a new professional league launching in 2018 featuring extreme calisthenics athletes, today announced the entertainment line-up for its "UFL World Cup" event on July 4th at Coney Island. Four borough-born hip-hoppers will unite under the lights for an unforgettable half-time show. Dave East, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and A Boogie with da Hoodie headline this unprecedented convergence of sport, style and music co-hosted by television personality Mario Lopez and actor/model Tyson Beckford along with syndicated hip-hop sensation DJ Envy of Power 105.1's "Breakfast Club.

Tickets to the two-hour "UFL World Cup" at the Ford Amphitheatre on the Coney Island Boardwalk start at $10, and are now on sale at Ticketmaster and www.UFLpro.com.

"We're thrilled to have Dave, Jim, A Boogie and Juelz all performing at the UFL World Cup. UFL was born in New York City, so to have these four hip-hop stars that got their start here, too, will be very special," said Ben Sturner, CEO of Urban Fitness League.

The UFL World Cup will be housed in the 5,000 seat, state-of-the-art, open air Ford Amphitheatre on the Coney Island boardwalk, which debuted to much fanfare last year. The showcase will feature a combination of freestyle competition and one-on-one battles where athletes will demonstrate their strength, agility and creativity on customized urban equipment.

Originating in Brooklyn, New York, "urban fitness" is a lifestyle revolution that is taking the world by storm. The concept of urban fitness developed in public parks, playgrounds and outdoor gyms and has developed into a unique "The World is our Gym" mentality. The movement has grown globally with teams in China, Brazil, Spain, Australia, Germany and Russia as well as televised events in Europe on EuroSport.
