Singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson will perform at The Orleans Showroom, Oct. 10 and 11.
The Alabama native launched his career in 2006 with his debut song "The Dollar," the title track for his album. That same year, Johnson co-wrote "Give It Away" for George Straight, which reached #1 on Billboard's Country charts. Additionally, Johnson co-authored Trace Adkin's songs "Ladies Love Country Boys" and "I Got My Game On." In 2008, Johnson released his second album, "That Lonesome Song," which was certified platinum for exceeding one million in sales. The album produced two Billboard Top 40 hits with "In Color" and "High Cost of Living." His subsequent album, "The Guitar Song" received gold certification. Johnson went on to win two "Song of the Year" recognitions for his tracks "Give It Away" and "In Color" from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. The New York Times, Rolling Stone and The Wall Street Journal among others have recognized Johnson for his music.Videos
