Ghostlight Records is releasing the debut album from Tony and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Linda Lavin, entitled "Possibilities." The album is currently available in all digital outlets and will arrive in stores on November 29. To hear song previews and order the album, visit sh-k-boom.com/lindalavin.shtml.

Lavin will celebrate the release of the album with a concert at Birdland in New York City on December 5, 2011 at 7PM. She will be joined by Broadway veteran Nancy Dussault, as well as three of her co-stars from Off-Broadway's The Lyons: Kate Jennings Grant, Brenda Pressley and Michael Esper.

Featuring an eclectic mix of Broadway standards and cabaret songs, Lavin's new recording features musical direction, arrangements and piano by Billy Stritch. "These are songs that I grew up with and songs that I've sung in my nightclub act over the years," Lavin says of the album. "They are songs that mean a lot to me in terms of telling the story of who I am."

"Possibilities" was produced by John Brown and recorded at Overdub Lane in Durham, North Carolina. In addition to Stritch on Piano and Vocals (on "Corcovado") and album producer John Brown on Bass, the recording also features Steve Bakunas on Drums, Ray Codrington on Horns and Baron Tymas on Guitar. It was engineered by John Plymale.

The album liner includes a special note from Hal Prince, whom Lavin first collaborated with on Broadway's A Family Affair in 1961, which was followed up with subsequent projects together such as It's A Bird, It's A Plane, It's Superman and Hollywood Arms.

The track list for Possibilities is as follows:

1. It Might As Well Be Spring
2. Hey, Look Me Over
3. There's A Small Hotel
4. In Love Again
5. Corcovado (Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars)
