The Gallery Theatre in McMinnville, Oregon is celebrating their volunteers, actors, technicians and all others who have supported them throughout the year on January 8.

Join them for this elegant affair on January 8 as they celebrate and recognize those who helped make their 2010 Gallery Season a big success!  Gallery’s line up consisted of seven shows in 2010: four musicals—The Fantasticks, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka and Annie and three non-musicals—Rabbit Hole, Not Waving and Over the River and Through The Woods.  The shows’ directors have nominated outstanding performers from their respective shows and a panel of Gallery Theater patrons has selected the winners.  At their Annual Celebration & Awards Night, awards will be given for Outstanding Lead Performance—Male and Female, and Outstanding Supporting Performance—Male and Female in both musical and non-musical categories.  Also being recognized are Outstanding Musical Director, Choreographer, Youth Performance, Debut Performance, Ensemble Work, Set Design, Set Creation, Costumer, and a special category called “Light Up The Stage” for the actor of any age or gender in that smaller role that really stood out this year.

The Annual Celebration & Awards Night is their opportunity to show their appreciation for all of the volunteers, actors/actresses and technicians who have supported them throughout the year.  Whether on stage, back stage, or in the tech booth Gallery depends on these volunteers to help make every show the best it can be and their theater the great theater that it is.

They hope you’ll join them for their Annual Celebration & Awards Night.  The event is free and open to the public, so come be their guest and bring a friend!  The Awards Ceremony will begin at 7:30pm.
