Final Show Date Set for Scorpions Battle of the Bands Competition

Providers of some of the best live music around, The Scorpion Bar at Foxwoods Resort Casino has announced that they will switch the finals of their annual Battle of the Bands competition with one of their Live Music Sundays. Originally planned for Sunday, Sept. 1, the exciting finale will now take place on Sunday, Aug.11, and is currently set to feature Forget Paris and Evident, who have both already qualified for their shot at the grand prize.

The Battle, featuring up-and-coming artists vying for the top prize of $500 and the chance to be played on Radio 104.1, will welcome Cometa, Big Charlie's Big Rubber Band, Humble Patients and Hearts and Thieves on Sunday, July 28, for the last of the regular battles. The winner from this showcase will join the aforementioned participants for their chance for all the marbles.

The Live Music Sunday will also keep its original acts, as Joe Ardito, Katelyn Richards, Deception Fades and Chaser 8 will all be on hand on Sunday, Sept. 1.

Tickets purchased for the original show dates will be honored for admission.

On August 11th, the Battle of the Band's Finals with Forget Paris, Evident, TBD will take place with one band emerging as the champion of the competition. On September 1st, there will be Live Music Sunday with Joe Ardito, Katelyn Richards, Deception Fades, Chaser. All of this takes place at The Scorpion Bar at the Foxwoods Resort Casion at 350 Trolley Line Blvd, Mashantucket CT.
