FIRST LOOK - Adam Levine is People's 'Sexiest Man Alive'!

It's official - Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive! And today, PEOPLE gives a first look at 'The Voice' coach gracing the cover of this week's annual issue. Check it out at left!

"As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table," the singer tells the magazine in this week's cover story. "I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool."

The singer also shares his sensitive side, admitting that he sobs at movies and just can't wait to be married to his fiancée, Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo. "I didn't think marriage was for me for a long time," commented the 34-year-old. "I was ready when I was ready. That's about as simple as it could possibly be."

The LA native is grateful for all the good fortune that has come his way recently. "This is just a really interesting time where everything seems to be heading in a certain direction," he adds. "And I'm not taking any of it for granted."
