Rita Wilson's second studio album self-titled 'Rita Wilson,' featuring a collection of original songs that she co-wrote, will be released March 11. Today, Billboard has an exclusive first listen to one of the LP's tracks titled 'Along For the Ride.' Check it out HERE

"I always wanted to do music, but I didn't believe that I could be a songwriter because I didn't play an instrument and I had never been around anybody who had written a song. So I was never aware of the process," Wilson tells Billboard. Her good friend DioGuardi changed her thinking, co-writing some of the album's tracks with Wilson and Jason Reeves.

Although Wilson is well-known as an actress (It's Complicated, Sleepless in Seattle, and recurring roles on CBS' The Good Wife and HBO's Golden Globe winning series Girls, recently starring in Larry David's sold out Broadway hit Fish in the Dark and a film producer (discovered and produced My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Mamma Mia!), few may be aware that her early show biz ambitions were actually musical. Wilson released her critically acclaimed debut album AM/FM - an intimate, elegant, and beautifully sung collection of classics from the '60s and '70s in 2012.
