Who has a golf tournament in January one might ask!? The music and management companies, touring professionals and related industries...That's Who! It's become the one tournament that people look forward to each and every year in SoCal for the opportunity to break away from the cold and raise money for some important organizations. Music industry vets Kevin Lyman (Vans Warped Tour, Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival) and John Reese (Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, IDentity, SGE) for the 4th consecutive year, gathered with their industry and celebrity Friends for "Duffing For Dollars," an incredible day of golf and a night of too many cocktails, wild awards and one-of-a-kind auctions. Hosted by Joe Sib of "Complete Control Radio" (98.7 FM, Los Angeles), the event raised over $42,000 for the "Unite The United" and "MusiCares" charities and once again, took place at the beautiful and challenging, Mission Viejo Country Club.

With another sold-out crowd during the day/night at the January 28, 2013 event, Greg Ganzerla and his PEAKfresh team was the winning foursome with a tie for second between Vans and the Avenged Sevenfold team. One of the more highly coveted trophies this year was taken home by the guys from the Pantheon Agency for "Worst Team." They might not have been the worst team but they at least turned in their scorecard. Maureen Valker, SGE VP of Sales who was holding it down for the ladies, garnered the highly-coveted "Best Dressed" trophy by a round of applause between the matching Property Preservation Services team, Fat Mike and last year's recipient, Zacky Vengeance. Some of the event highlights were a fantastic musical set during the cocktail hour by Side One Dummy recording artists, Brothers of Brazil and during the afternoon the Rockstar Energy Drink, Azunia Tequila, Kleege Industries and Stage-Tech party holes were the places to be. For the second year, another hole-in-one was missed by mere inches at the $20,000 cash prize hole. Celebrities included Fred Durst, M. Shadows & Zacky Vengeance of Avenged Sevenfold, Fat Mike & Melvin of NOFX, Jonathan, Caleb. Kyle and Austin from Forever The Sickest Kids and No Doubt drummer and golfer extraordinaire, Adrian Young. The sixteen unique KISS, Star Wars, Public Enemy & South Park - inspired trophies were commissioned by Vans and created by artist Frank Stanley.

Team 5B Management: Fred Durst, Cory Brennan, Justin Arcangel, Jordan Mancino.

"Duffing for Dollars 4th year was by far our best! The tournament gets bigger and better each year. We are so pleased that we can help our charity MusiCares in their very important support of the music community. To all the participants we thank you for your continued support." states John Reese.
