Young singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Dylan Gardner releases a brand-new song today, "Sign Language," via all digital service providers.

"Sign Language" shuffles between bright acoustic guitar, handclaps, and an unshakable refrain, artfully balancing rock 'n' roll energy and pop fun. "To me the song is about my shyness in relationships," Gardner says. "I'm admitting my shortcomings and asking a girl for a little sign, because I'm too flabbergasted to say anything. It was a big growth moment to admit and say that."

"Sign Language" is the first single from Gardner's second full-length album, which will be released by Warner Bros. Records in 2017, and is the follow up to the 20-year-old Gardner's debut album, Adventures in Real Time, which spawned the single "Let's Get It Started." That track has amassed over nine million Spotify streams. Critics and fans agree, Gardner, wise and literate well beyond his years, is in command of an innate ability to craft fully-realized pop gems:
"The video on YouTube of Dylan Gardner running through the second side of the Beatles' Abbey Road on a variety of instruments in under three minutes should assure the older generation that kids today know about the old music and can play instruments, for what that's worth. Hopefully, younger people will find the infectious hooks of "Too Afraid to Love You" and "Let's Get Started" to be as impressive and endearing as they sounded to the folks at Warner Bros., who released the kid's debut album, Adventures in Real Time, on Jan. 6 this year." - Yahoo! "Dylan had me at the first line of the first song: 'I'll be John and you'll be Yoko.' My kind of star-crossed lovers. The fun was just getting started as this rollicking record in the vein of Ben Kweller proved delightfully consistent ... very strong songwriting." - HuffingtonPost: One of The Best Albums of 2015! / #1 Rising Talent
"Dylan's music isn't just heard on stage-but on screen, as well. His tunes have been featured on major projects like CBS's Blue Bloods, Jennifer Aniston's movie Cake, ABC's Manhattan Love Story, and more. Now he's stepping into the spotlight himself, already making waves by touring the country non-stop during the past year. Although he's already accomplished much, the young singer/songwriter is already looking towards the future. He's currently working on a follow-up to his 2014 debut album Adventures in Real Time, a new project that will unveil a side of him we haven't seen before" - Who Say
Born in Illinois, Gardner vividly recalls playing maracas on stage with his dad's popular Chicago band at age three. He went from playing school talent shows to cutting his teeth at Chicago bars. Surrounded by vinyl and instruments, writing songs became second nature, and Gardner opted for home schooling at 15 when his family relocated to Phoenix so he could focus on penning tunes in between playing local clubs. Diligently honing his craft, Gardner wrote 100 songs and independently recorded Adventures in Real Time, which Warner Bros. Records reissued in 2014.
