The video for lead single "From Now On" off Delta Spirit's highly anticipated Into the Wide is now streaming at Entertainment Weekly (http://bit.ly/1opx6SH). Of the video, which was filmed on a ranch in Southeast Colorado, director Andrew Bruntel of Wes Anderson's The Director's Bureau explains "it's comprised of three simple, understated vignettes dealing with various relationship dynamics...if I could parse it down to one simple theme it would be vulnerability. Vulnerability in friendships, in our relationships with family and with the pets/animals that we allow into our lives."

The song itself is receiving critical acclaim-Consequence of Sound hails, "The track has a booming chorus, as frontman Matt Vasquez warmly sings, 'From now on, I'm gonna be a friend' over soaring, arena-ready guitars" while WXPN The Key furthers, "'From Now On' is catchy, likable, and gets you excited to hear the rest of the album."

Into the Wide, Delta Spirit's fourth record, was born in a windowless Brooklyn studio the band built and subsequently rebuilt after Hurricane Sandy. They spent more than a year writing together, resulting in a record Esquire says "may have yielded some of the most stunning songs of their career to date. Into the Wide brings about some of the hard, sinister truths explored on their earlier effort History from Below while channeling some of the invigoration Delta Spirit provided, and the urban landscape they sought out had a lot to do with that." When it came time to record, the band relocated to Maze Studios in Atlanta and teamed up with producer Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Deerhunter), who helped breathe new life and brighter energy into the songs while still capturing the distinctive results of their writing space in New York.

To celebrate the release Delta Spirit will tour extensively throughout the fall including three headlining dates each in New York City and Los Angeles. See below for details.

Formed in 2005, Delta Spirit is Matt Vasquez (vocals, guitar), Will Mclaren (guitar), Jon Jameson (bass), Brandon Young (drums) and Kelly Winrich (multi-instrumentalist, vocals). The critically acclaimed band has had numerous television performances including "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," "Conan," "Last Call with Carson Daly" and "Later with Jools Holland," as well as relentless touring and festival appearances worldwide including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo among many others. Their 2012 self-titled release charted #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers and was praised by Rolling Stone for its "broader sonic palette." In 2013 the band had an original track titled "Running" featured on AMC's hit series "Walking Dead." Into the Wide is the band's fourth LP and first for Dualtone.
