Cleopatra Records released Devastation In The Void, the new album from Legendary Japan-core band SLANG on October 14th followed by their previous hardcore-punk classic Glory Outshines Doom on October 28th.

Born out of Sapporo, Japan in 1988, SLANG have built themselves into a force to be reckoned with, and sport a worldwide die-hard following (including a highly successful 2010 U.S. tour which spawned the release of a live DVD from its highlights). Their 7th album Devastation In The Void, sees them rise to new strengths. Two traditions meet in Slang. Fusing traditional Japan-core with New York Hardcore, over a relentless D-Beat assault, Slang are a sonic boom, and not for the faint of heart. Longtime supporters of the 'Child Abuse Protection Campaign' and staunch anti-war protestors, Slang deliver a message as equally strong as their music.

On October 28th, their previous album Glory Outshines Doom, will see its U.S. CD debut. Combined with Devastation In The Void, Slang offers the listener the only light they may see in the void.
