Cassadee Pope Releases New Single ONE MORE RED LIGHT

GRAMMY® Award-nominated, platinum-certified country hit maker Cassadee Pope debuts her latest single today, "One More Red Light," co-written by Pope, Kelly Archer and Emily Shackleton. The infectious up-tempo track, which sees Pope in rare vocal form, marks the second song from Cassadee's forthcoming release. Its first single, "Take You Home," amassed more than 8 million streams.

"The idea for "One More Red Light" came from the excitement of connecting with someone that you're getting to know," said Pope. "It's such a fun and unpredictable time, and if it's going THAT well, you just don't want the night to end, so the story I'm telling between "Take You Home" and "One More Red Light" is about hope and vulnerability." Pope adds, "This is a whole new chapter in my life. I absolutely dive into the darker times on some of the other tracks coming for this project, but I wanted to start the story here."

"Take You Home," her first single in two years, attracted a firestorm of attention from fans and critics alike. Punctuated by its confessional lyrics, "Take You Home" mirrored Pope's multi-dimensional personality. As stated, the track "is in-your-face musically, really intimate, and a little seductive."

The singer's powerhouse voice, inimitable presence, and endless charm transformed her into a force of nature beloved by millions worldwide. Following her victory on Season 3 of NBC's The Voice, her 2013 full-length debut, Frame by Frame, bowed at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart and Top 10 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart. Its lead single "Wasting All These Tears" not only notched an RIAA platinum certification, it also achieved "Breakthrough Video of the Year" at the CMT Music Awards in 2014.

During 2016, she also teamed with Chris Young for the No. 1 hit "Think Of You" and garnered a 2017 GRAMMY® nod in the category of Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Along the way, she toured with everybody from Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley to Young and Rascal Flatts.
