CUCO Announces New Tour Dates in Los Angeles and San Francisco

Chicano indie heartthrob-CUCO-announces new tour dates in the San Francisco-area and Los Angeles, CA. After selling out his first SF show at the Rickshaw Stop-slated for Saturday, August 25-in just a mere 24 hours, there was no doubt in extending the trip up north for fans located in the Bay Area. CUCO will hit Sacramento (Goldfield) and Oakland (New Parish) before hitting his sold-out debut in San Francisco.

Further, just announced this week--on Wednesday, July 26, he will perform in Los Angeles at Union Nightclub for 'Solidarity for Sanctuary.' Put on by mija mgmt and Viva Presents, the concert acts as an annual benefit for Latino families in need, as well as a pre-party for the upcoming festival--Viva Pomona (August 5-6) where CUCO will perform as the Saturday headliner. Tickets will cost $13, and are available for purchase starting today (7/19).

Says Doris Muñoz-'Solidarity for Sanctuary' founder-of the event: "We're so excited to be partnering with Viva for the third Solidarity for Sanctuary. Thanks to everyone's support, this event has been able to grow and spread awareness. We hope this series continues to shed light on our community's fight for sanctuary and we can't wait to help as many families as possible."

Says CUCO-artist/'Solidarity for Sanctuary' supporter: "For me, Solidarity for Sanctuary is essentially an embodiment and representation of my own family situation and where a lot of us Latinx come from. Seeing how much hate is being aimed towards immigrant communities by this administration and how little resources there are to help my own people, it's unfortunate. I think it's super important for us as Latinxs to come together, be visible and speak up and start providing necessary resources for our own people."
