Bay Area quartet SWMRS today released a music video for their debut single "Miley." Praising the subject matter of the song, MTV offered "The lyrics of the song will resonate with anyone who has watched Miley Cyrus transition from her cookie-cutter pop star days on Disney to her now openly free-spirited and eccentric ways." Directed by the band, the DIY clip further contextualizes their admiration for the former Disney-star turned "punk rock queen."

i-D Magazine premiered the track earlier this month, hailing it as "the most punk tribute to Miley Cyrus ever." Produced by FIDLAR frontman, Zac Carper, "Miley" and b-side "Uncool" are the first songs the band has shared from their forthcoming debut full-length record. "Miley" and "Uncool" are available now via the band's own Uncool Records HERE.

SWMRS just wrapped a US tour supporting Wavves and Twin Peaks. Check out photos from the road on the band's Tumblr HERE. Stay tuned for more live dates.
