Avenged Sevenfold took home three awards last night at Revolver Magazine's 2011 Golden Gods award show last night at a ceremony at Los Angeles' Club Nokia, including an "Album of the Year" nod for their current release Nightmare, "Best Vocalist" for M. Shadows and "Best Guitarists" for Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance.

Avenged Sevenfold were the headline performers of the night, delivering an explosive performance on a bill that also included Alice Cooper. The band performed Pantera's "Mouth For War" with Vinnie Paul and Guns N' Roses' "It's So Easy" with Duff McKagan.

On Friday, April 22nd, Avenged Sevenfold kicks off its "Welcome to the Family" Tour, which continues through May 21st. All confirmed tour dates are below. Three Days Grace will open each show on the tour, while Sevendust will also appear from April 22nd through May 1st, followed by support from Bullet For My Valentine from May 3rd through May 20th.

Avenged Sevenfold will also perform for 30,000 fans on May 7th by headlining the first annual Carolina Rebellion festival, which has sold out more than a month before it hits the Metrolina Expo in Charlotte, NC. Also on the bill are Godsmack, Three Days Grace, Stone Sour and many others. A7X's other spring festival appearances include Edgefest in Little Rock, AR, on April 23rd, Lazerfest in Des Moines, IA, on May 15th, and Rock on the Range in Columbus, OH, on May 21st.

Avenged's current single, "So Far Away" - a very personal goodbye to their friend and drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, is currently racing up the Active Rock and Alternative Charts. It follows on the heels of the band's previous two No. 1 Active Rock singles, "Welcome to the Family" and "Nightmare," both from A7X's gold album Nightmare, which earned A7X its highest-ever debut on the Billboard album chart when it bowed at No. 1 and topped Billboard's Rock, Hard Rock, and Digital charts. The title track was the most played current song at Media Base Active Rock for 2010.
