Minneapolis area indie rocker Alison Scott makes her triumphant return to the Main Street Stage with another amazing holiday show.

Often compared to vocal greats such as Carole King and Alicia Keys, Alison Scott continues to set the standard for the Minneapolis music scene, and her holiday show is not to be missed. She's no stranger to the Lyric Arts stage, and we are thrilled to have her back for another holiday show in late December. Scott's new concert series, A Soulful Christmas incorporates a six piece band, as well as teaming up with a different local choir for each show.

For the show at Lyric Arts, she will appear with the Minnesota Boychoir. This group brings together boys and young men from many backgrounds, nurturing the development of exceptional character, and inspiring and benefitting the community. With this partnership, Scott hopes to reach out to up and coming musicians and share the experience of being a professional musician to inspire them to pursue a career in music.

Lyric Arts' "Music in the 'Burbs" series is designed to provide music fans with an up-close and personal concert experience. The 228 seat bowl-style Main Street Stage serves as a perfect venue for an intimate musical experience for both audiences and performers alike. The A Soulful Christmas concert series is sponsored by 96.3 K-TWIN, McNally Smith College of Music, PeopleNet and Vusion.

Alison Scott will perform at Lyric Arts Main Street Stage on December 29th, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets to the show range from $21-$25 and can be purchased by calling the Lyric Arts box office at 763-422-1838 or by visiting www.lyricarts.org.
