Adorama, one of the world's largest photography, video and audio, imaging and electronics retailers, recently published a tribute to Glenn Freythe renowned singer, songwriter, guitarist, and founding member of American rock band Eagles. Frey passed away on January 18, aged 67.

In the tribute on Adorama Learning Center, Hutton Marshall lists some of Adorama's favorite photos, videos of live performances and interviews, and quotes featuring Frey. Notable highlights include Frey's live performance of "Desperado" on Letterman in 1984 and the Eagles' 1974 performance of "Take It Easy" in California Jam. Also included are social media posts from other musicians and fans honoring Frey.

According to an official statement posted on the Eagles website, Frey had "fought a courageous battle for the past several weeks but, sadly, succumbed to complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia."

Frey's bandmate Don Henley wrote a touching tribute, emphasizing their strong bond:

"He was like a brother to me; we were family, and like most families, there was some dysfunction. But, the bond we forged 45 years ago was never broken, even during the 14 years that the Eagles were dissolved. We were two young men who made the pilgrimage to Los Angeles with the same dream: to make our mark in the music industry and with perseverance, a deep love of music...we built something that has lasted longer than anyone could have dreamed."
The Eagles are among the world's best-selling bands of all time, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide. Frey was the lead vocalist of iconic songs such as "Tequila Sunrise," "Lyin' Eyes," and "The Heat Is On". Aside from his stint with the Eagles, Frey also had a very successful solo career.
