Daughtry is coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse tonight, April 28, at 8 p.m.

The American rock band was formed and fronted by Chris Daughtry, a finalist on season five of American Idol. Their self-titled debut album release in 2006 has sold eight million albums and more than 22 million digital tracks in the U.S. What's more, they've been nominated for Grammy Awards and have won several American Music Awards. Daughtry hits include "No Surprise", "It's Not Over", "Home" and "Feels Like Tonight".

Special guest is British singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas, whose vocals and piano performances include pop, adult contemporary and R&B.

Daughtry has amassed lots of distinctions including four No. 1 hits, four Grammy nominations, four American Music Awards, more than eight million albums in sales, 18 million singles worldwide and sold-out concerts around the world. Daughtry's self-titled debut album was the fastest selling rock debut in Soundscan history and its follow up, Leave This Town, marked the quintet's second consecutive No. 1 album. Daughtry's third album Break The Spell was certified Gold within four weeks of its release. Their single "Waiting For Superman" broke into the top 15 with their new single "Battleships" racing up the charts. November 2014 saw the release of Daughtry's latest album, Baptized.
