303 Choir, a non-auditioned community choir featuring middle school and high school students will be performing with some of Denver's hottest and most progressive musicians as a part of its hip-hop weekend. The lineup includes The ReMINDers, DJ Cavem, Molina Speaks, 2MX2, Bianca Mikahn, DJ RSKWARED, Infinite Mindz and DJ Lazy Eyez.

The choir led by Travis Branam will collaborate with each artist for an innovative performance of hip-hop music. 303 Choir celebrates Denver connected artists who are making positive music that educates and uplifts the young generation. With a specific focus on Denver's youth, the Born Champions Colorado Hip-hop Concert will inspire all in attendance.

303 Choir brings together a group of teens who love the music scene to perform an array of music written by classically trained choral composers, local rock bands, hip-hop artists and music written by members of the choir.

This all ages/family oriented event will take place on Saturday January 25, 2014 at St. Charles Recreation Center (3771 Lafayette St; Denver) from 8:00pm-9:30pm.

In addition to the concert, 303 Choir Director Travis Branam will hold a workshop on Friday January 24th from 6-9pm and Saturday 1-9:30pm (same location) for middle and high school students who are interested in meeting and collaborating with local hip-hop artists for this progressive music endeavor.

Parents who are interested signing their children up to participate in the 303 Choir Hip-Hop Weekend (and future 303 Choir projects) should contact Travis at branam@childrenschorale.org."
