Announcing the 12th Annual Give Into The Groove Music/Art Extravaganza, taking place Saturday, September 26 at The Break Room in the James Pepper Distillery, 1228 Manchester St. Event time is from 8 p.m.-11 p.m. Free. All-ages. Info: giveintothegroove.com/.

The James Pepper Distillery, a 55,000-square-foot facility located along Town Branch, had been dormant since the late 1950s until transformed into a restaurant and entertainment campus in the Summer of 2014.

"We are really excited about moving to this open space, first because we love The Break Room - it's located in the middle of the Town Branch Trail; and second, because in our opinion the business people there are really redefining art in Lexington and are constantly creating opportunity for local and visiting artists", says ellee ven, Give Into The Groove founder and President of Lexington-based Hot Sauce Records. "We are excited that it's going to be outside with games for kids of all ages and that we are moving back to a free admission event. We like people to give what they can to the organizations directly".

As for GITG moving to September? "We have also done it in April and the first year, we did it in October, but we chose September because it's back to school and the weather should be perfect (according to our forecasting!)".

Give Into The Groove's mission is to show people how many ways there are to give back to one's community with year-round all-ages affordable philanthropy. To that end, GITG sponsors other events and community projects throughout the year that culminate with the annual GITG flagship event. The hope is, we will unleash artists of all ages and show how small efforts truly add up".

Youth is served with rockabilly-styled guitarist/vocalist Johnny Conqueroo, who performs at the 12th Annual Give Into the Groove on September 26. Conqueroo recently played at the Chevy Chase Street Fair in Lexington.
