PUBLIC IMAGE LTD performed live (Tuesday, September, 25) on BBC TWO's "Later With…Jools Holland," marking their first appearance on British TV in 20 years. Watch (below) PUBLIC IMAGE LTD kick off the show's new season with their new single "Reggie Song"--taken from their critically acclaimed current album THIS IS PiL. They'll perform 3 more songs on Friday, September 28. Meanwhile, PiL frontman JOHN LYDON is featured on the cover of the British publication NME for their "60 Years Of NME" as one of 8 special editions on stands this week.

PUBLIC IMAGE LTD's upcoming tour launches October 3 in Orlando and marks their first return to North America since their 2010 trek which kicked off at Coachella. The group--described as "a musical force taking a jackhammer to pop music's boundaries" (Phil Gallo, Billboard, 5/19/12)--are touring in support of their new album, THIS IS PiL was released May 29 this year via their own PiL Official label, with distribution through Redeye in the U.S. and Cargo in the U.K.

THIS IS PiL--the band's first album of new music in 20 years--has generated rave reviews from critics and features new tracks such as "Deeper Water," "Lollipop Opera," "One Drop" and "Out of the Woods." On October 1, a new AA side single titled "Out Of The Woods/Reggie Song" will be released in CD, digital and as a special 12 inch Vinyl.
