With infectious energy, humor, passion, and masterful musicianship, Christmas With The Celts brings audiences to their feet! Performing around the world for 15 years, this ensemble cast of Irish born and Irish-American musicians thrills with a combination of fiery Scottish/Irish traditional instrumental and vocal tunes as well as their own Beatles/American pop-influenced original songs with Celtic instrumentation. Their recent television special, Christmas With The Celts, has aired on more than ninety PBS stations and associated regional networks. The show is coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, December 4, at 8 p.m. Palm Bay International will host a tasting of wines/spirits in the lobby at 7 p.m. Aranci 67 (7 Main St., Redding/Georgetown, CT) will pour a complimentary glass of house wine with dinner the night of this show when tickets are presented. This show is underwritten by Ogham Art and is part of the Palm Bay International World Beat Series.

This uplifting, spirited holiday celebration featuring ancient Irish and Scottish Christmas carols, some never before heard by modern ears, along with traditional Christmas favorites, has got all the holiday trimmings - singers, dancers, and musicians - to make this holiday the most memorable ever. A typical concert involves not only fervent, inspired music but also periodic bouts of spirited Irish dancing. A not-to-be-missed holiday event for the whole family to enjoy together! This event is underwritten by Ogham Art.

For tickets ($47.50), call the box office at 203-438-5795. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT; ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
