Lupita Nyong'o Pearl-Adorned OSCAR Gown Stolen; Valued at $150,000!

TMZ reports that Lupita Nyong'o's stunning dress which she wore to Sunday's ACADEMY AWARDS, has been stolen from her hotel room.

According to law enforcement sources the dress was taken out of the Oscar winner's room at The London West Hollywood. Featuring over 6,000 white Akoya pearls, the gown is valued at $150,000. TMZ sources reveal that Lupita told police the dress was stolen sometime between 8 AM and 9 PM Tuesday while she was away form the room. The site also reports that there is security footage that police are now studying in hopes that they will "catch the culprit right in the act."

The 87th annual Oscars took place Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre® at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood, and were televised live on the ABC Television Network. The Oscars, produced by Zadan and Meron, was also televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
