According to new reports, both the forthcoming big screen edition of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's beloved fairy tale-themed musical INTO THE WOODS and the movie musical edition of Best Musical Tony Award winner JERSEY BOYS will be represented at industry insider event Cinema Con this week as part of larger studio-wide presentations by Disney and Warner Brothers, respectively.

While no footage from the film is planned to be shown, character posters from Rob Marhsall's INTO THE WOODS depicting the central stars of the story - Meryl Streep as The Witch, Johnny Depp as The Wolf and Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, among them - have been spotted at the yearly promotional event.

Additionally, a first look at scenes from acclaimed director Clint Eastwood's new cinematic take on the Four Seasons jukebox musical hit JERSEY BOYS starring its Tony Award-winning original lead, John Lloyd Young, is set to occur today, as well.

Of note, INTO THE WOODS is set to be released this Christmas, while JERSEY BOYS has a release date of June 20.
