Hitchcock Classic STRANGERS ON A TRAIN Heading to West End

According to the report, the show is from the producing team of Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. Hitchcock helmed the original 1951 thriller which was based on Patricia Highsmith's novel. The plot follows Guy Haines, described as "a man whose life takes a dangerous turn after a seemingly innocent conversation with a fellow train passenger."
According to the show's description, "Ahead lies a lethal nightmare of blackmail and psychological torment that threatens to cost Guy his career, his marriage and his sanity. His choice: to kill, or to be framed for a murder he didn't commit."
The show will feature an all-star cast including Laurence Fox (Inspector Lewis, W.E.), Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire), Christian McKay (Rush), Miranda Raison (My Week With Marilyn), Imogen Stubbs (Sense And Sensibility) and MyAnna Buring (Downton Abbey).
The production was adapted for the stage by Craig Warner and will be directed by Robert Allan Ackerman. Lucky VIII/Lou Spisto, Frederick Zollo and Michael Rose Limited for Strangers (UK) Limited will also produce. Previews begin at the Gielgud Theatre on November 2.
