Carrie Coon Joins Cast of David Fincher's GONE GIRL

Deadline reports that Tony nominee Carrie Coon has signed on to David Fincher's upcoming drama GONE GIRL. The actress will join cast members Ben Affleck, Tyler Perry, Kim Dickens, Patrick Fugit, Neil Patrick Harris and Rosamund Pike in the film based on the Gillian Flynn novel.

Perry will star as Tanner Bolt, "the attorney who reps Affleck's character after his wife disappears." Coon wil take on the role of Affleck's character's twin sister.

Coon recently received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the Broadway revival of Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Her other stage credits include The March, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and the upcoming Three Sisters (Steppenwolf Theatre Company); The Girl in the Yellow Dress (Next Theatre Company); The Real Thing (Writers' Theatre); Magnolia (Goodman Theatre); and Bronte (Remy Bumppo Theatre Company); and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Steppenwolf Theatre Company).
