According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS and The Recording Academy have announced a one-hour special on the making of 2012's Grammy Awards show. Among other behind-the-scenes footage, the documentary will feature how the team was able to pull together a Whitney Houston tribute with less than a day's notice.

"I don't want to say it unmasks everything, but it does take a look at everything you don't get to see," Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich said. "All of the footage came in after the fact. We didn't mean to do this ahead of time."

The doc will air on February 9, just ahead of this year's February 10th awards broadcast.

The Recording Academy's President and CEO Neil Portnow also said the team is in talks with The Rolling Stones to perform at this year's ceremony.

At the 54th ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS, Adele walked off with 6 Grammy awards including Record of the Year for 'Rolling in the Deep' and Pop Vocal Album, "21". Other big winners included the Foo Fighter's Best Rock Song, 'Walk" and Taylor Swift for Best Country Song, "Mean". Click here for a full list of 2012 winners.
