According to Contactmusic.com, CBS has given the greenlight to a comedy pilot from Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Titled MORE TIME WITH THE FAMILY, the multi-camera project is from 20th Century Fox Television.
Comedian Tom Papa will portray "a family man who doesn't see much of his family. To remedy this, he overhauls his life, changing career to spend more time with the ones he loves. We're assuming, somewhere down the line, it's not what he assumed it would be."
The project was created by Damon and Papa, who worked together previously on The Informant and Behind The Candelabra.
Affleck recently wrote the crime drama 'The Middle Man' for FOX.
Affleck and Damon earned an Academy Award in 1998 for writing Good Will Hunting. Affleck earned his second Oscar last year for Argo - winning for Best Director. He was recently cast as Batman in an upcoming reboot of the superhero franchise.
Damon will be on the big screen soon in The Monuments Men, alongside George Clooney, who directed, produces and stars in the World War 2 black comedy/drama.
