Natsumi Tapas, the recently opened Japanese Italian fusion restaurant located in Gramercy, announces the launch of their brand new lunch service. The restaurant, which was initially open only for dinner, will now serve lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30am - 3pm.

In addition to their regular menu, several lunch specials are also available, with an emphasis on salads, pasta, and sushi as well as traditional bento box style offerings. Each option also presents guests with a range of accompaniments such as focacchia and house salad with all Pasta Lunches ($12-$16), and miso soup & house salad or edamame with all Sushi Lunches ($11-$16).

The concept for Natsumi Tapas was created by Barbara Matsumura, one of the most accomplished gastropreneurs in the city who pioneered large, sumptuous pieces of sushi at Haru. At Natsumi Tapas, she takes the fusion of Japanese and Italian flavors inspired by her travels to Italy (and first introduced at Natsumi in the theater district) to the next level.

Natsumi Tapas focuses on small plates for grazing and larger plates for sharing and offers a wide variety of dishes to be paired with cocktails, wine, beer and sake in a room designed for communal dining.

Natsumi Tapas is located at 323 Third Avenue at 24th Street. Visit their web site at www.natsumitapas.com or call them at (212)-889-2182. The restaurant seats 35 in the bar lounge and 65 in the dining room. Private events, catering and delivery are available.
