Critically acclaimed, Grammy®-nominated multi-platinum recording artist Tove Lo, who has surpassed Spotify's 1 billion-stream plateau, is set to join internationally renowned British rockers Coldplay on their forthcoming North American Tour this fall, kicking off September 23rd in Seattle. The pairing makes sense, given the Swedish siren's appearance on "Fun", a song on the band's latest album, A Head Full Of Dreams. Currently in the midst of her own SOLD OUT headlining Lady Wood Tour, and with major festivals announced for the spring and summer, including Coachella, Governor's Ball and Bonnaroo, Tove Lo is showing no signs of stopping. Tove Lo will be performing her current single "True Disaster" on NBC's popular Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday, February 21st. Tove made her U.S. late night television debut on Seth Meyers' show back in the summer of 2014, with a spellbinding performance of "Habits (Stay High)" following that up with a captivating performance of "Talking Body" in June 2015. Tove Lo ended 2016 on a high note following the release of her long-awaited sophomore album, Lady Wood on October 28, 2016 (via Island Records), scoring a Top 10 albums chart debut. November saw the release of Tove's passion project-the raw and bold short film Fairy Dust, in which she makes her acting debut alongside "alter ego" co-star Lina Esco (Kingdom, Flaked). The visually arresting piece seamlessly incorporates a slew of Lady Wood album tracks, including "True Disaster," "Influence," "Lady Wood," "Cool Girl," and "Vibes." Fairy Dust is the brainchild of Tove Lo and Swedish director and co-writer Tim Erem. Fairy Dust, "a raw, beautiful, and proudly provocative exploration of sexual desire, obsession, denial, and pain, not entirely unlike what we experience today" (V Magazine) ignited a storm that led YouTube to remove the film from view (after its album release day premiere worldwide), only to reinstate it hours later. Check out this "Behind The Scenes" look at the making of Fairy Dust, which premiered on Noisey yesterday.Videos
