Two events will be featured at The Grove Theatre and Academy: Saturday, April 14th at 8:00 pm, The Perfect Gentlemen will blend their special brand of music and humor; and on April 21st at 8:00 pm, Judy Tenuta will perform with her unique brand of adult humor.

The Perfect Gentlemen, whose harmonies and humor go back to the days of Vaudeville and whose close harmonies of such legendary groups as The Ink Spots and the Pied Pipers, sing a cappella or accompanied simply by guitar or ukulele.  The Perfect Gentlemen is made up of four performers whose members previously performed with groups such as the Dapper Dans of Disneyland, the 1930's-era vocal jazz group Vocalworks, the New Tradition of the Barbershop Harmony Society and touring stage musicals of City of Angels and Forever Plaid.

Their signature piece, Salute to the 20th Century, is a humorous take on the de-evolution of music over the last century, illustrated by singing the same song in the style of Barbershop, Dixieland, Blues, Big Band, Doo-Wop, Bluegrass, Disco, Techno Punk, and Rap, complete with visuals. Judy Tenuta, the Goddess of Love** performs at The Grove on April 21st at 8:00 pm.  Judy recently became an ordained minister, and converts her audiences to her signature religion, "Judyism". A strong advocate for children and women's issues and for gays, the fun-loving feminist preaches that all women should be worshipped as "Love Goddesses!"**

Judy has appeared in "The Vagina Monologues" and in "Menopause the Musical" both in LA and Chicago, and has had her own stand-up specials on Showtime, HBO and Lifetime. Judy was the first female stand-up comic to win "Best Female Comedian" at the American Comedy Awards and is a two-time Grammy nominee for her comedy CD'S.

Judy produced and starred in her own film, "Desperation Boulevard" about a former child star who stops at nothing to make a comeback. Judy will soon appear in the indie film, "Sister Mary" with Bruce Villanch.... so watch out, Meryl Streep!
