Comedian and social commentator Trae Crowder, the Liberal Redneck, will be appearing at Texas Theater in Oak Cliff on Friday October 21, 2016.

Crowder is joined by comedians Corey Forrester and Drew Morgan for the WellRed Comedy Tour. Together, they provide comedic entertainment and share a fresh, progressive world view, delivered with Southern straight-forwardness and a Tennessee twang.

Crowder gained recognition for his outspoken, liberal views on his youtube channel, "The Liberal Redneck". His channel now has over 91,000 subscribers, millions of views, and Crowder is a member of NBC Universal's Talent Infusion Program.

Corey Forrester has been writing and performing comedy since the age of 16, and has performed with DL Hugely, Steve Byrne, Roy Wood Jr, and other noted comedians. Drew Morgan was born in east Tennessee, but his time spent in countries throughout the world have greatly colored his perception and influenced his comedy. He is often seen performing at clubs in the New York area he resides in, including New York Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, Comic Strip Live, and the Creek and the Cave.

Together, the trio refuses to sit back and say nothing about hot topics like police brutality, the DEA, and Colin Kaepernick. These southern boys have a stage, and they intend to use it. In addition to The WellRed Comedy Tour and their Sunday Best blog, Crowder, Morgan, and Forrester have written a book, The Liberal Redneck Manifesto: Draggin' Dixie Outta the Dark, available on iTunes, Amazon, Barnes & Noble and more on October 4, 2016.

The Dallas leg of the WellRed Comedy Tour is presented by Blackbox Concerts' comedy division, Blackbox Comedy. Blackbox was established 2011, and is the winner of 3 consecutive Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards for Best Talent Buyer (2013, 2014, 2015)- for more info visit blackboxconcerts.com.
