The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival (TOsketchfest) has announced a new enhancement to their annual Best of the Fest Award, which will see the winning troupe receive a television development deal with Bruce McCulloch of Kids in the Hall, and TOsketchfest, in partnership with Accent Entertainment (Young Drunk Punk, Take This Waltz).

This juried award offers an unprecedented benefit to participating troupes, and will be personally announced by Bruce McCulloch during the closing award show on Sunday, March 15 at The Theatre Centre.
The 10th Anniversary TOsketchfest runs March 5-15, 2015 with over 40 sketch comedy troupes from across North America.

TOsketchfest will also feature the Sketchrospective Series, celebrating some of The Festival's favourite troupes from the first ten years. The series will spotlight some of the hottest troupes on the scene right now - like Vest of Friends, Tony Ho and Get Some - as well as troupes "from the vault" whose fans will be thrilled by a reunion including Accidental Company, The Somethingorothers, Boiled Wieners, The Understudies, The Williamson Playboys, and The Dance Party of Newfoundland.

Additional TOsketchfest Awards include the NOW Magazine Audience Choice Award, the Steam Whistle Brewing Producers' Pick Award and The Understudies Memorial Award.

Previously announced TOsketchfest programming includes performances by Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon, comedy duo Pajama Men, and CBC Radio's hit comedy program The Irrelevant Show.
