Upright Citizens Brigade performer Natasha Vaynblat will star in, "Natasha Vaynblat: United Federation of Teachers" a new, independent sketch show inspired by her life as a high school teacher in NYC. "Natasha Vaynblat: United Federation of Teachers" will run starting tonight, October 29th at the UCB Chelsea in New York City.

Natasha joined TEACH FOR AMERICA when she was 21 years old and moved to NYC to teach in one of the worst high schools in the city. Although Natasha was somewhat prepared for the difficult students, she was entirely unprepared for the adults she would meet. After four years in education, Natasha has learned that teaching is a challenge, that teaching is a gift, and that teaching will make you batshit crazy. Her show focuses on just the last part.

"Natasha Vaynblat: United Federation of Teachers," is a sketch and story telling show in one. The show features original characters interspersed with video confessions about the inner thoughts of a young teacher.

Natasha Vaynblat is a comedian who currently performs with The Upright Citizens Brigade on Maude Night and with What I Did For Love. She can be seen in commercials nationwide, including: TD Bank and Haverty's. She has performed in several showcases including the NBC Diversity Showcase, as well as the UCB Variety Showcase, and UCB's Black DVD.
