NBC's THE VOICE Finale Tops ABC's 'DWTS' by 46% in A18-49 Demo

NBC wins Tuesday in 18-49 among the Big 4, led by the #1 show of the night in 18-49 and total viewers, THE VOICE. The finale of "The Voice 12" (1.9/7 in 18-49, 9.1 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) g Grows +27% week to week in 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.5) Increases to NBC's top rating in the time period in nine weeks (since March 14, the night of the "This Is Us" season finale). Outrates ABC's 8:30-11 p.m. "Dancing With the Stars" finale by a +46% margin in 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.3). Moves ahead of "Dancing" in total viewers (9.070 million vs. 8.839 million). Is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and total viewers. Wins the timeslot among those nets in every key measure. Earns the top "Voice" Tuesday rating since April 4 in 18-49 (1.9 in 18-49). The year-ago "Voice" finale earned a 2.2 in 18-49 and 10.594 million viewers overall on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.

"Great News" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET): In a special earlier 8 p.m. timeslot, maintains 100% of last week's regular-slot rating in 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.7). Upscale: "Great News" is a strong upscale performer, with the 9 p.m. episode averaging a 122 index among adults 18-49 living in $100K+ homes and the 9:30 telecast delivering a 116.

A second telecast of "Great News" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET): Equals the show's highest rating since its premiere week, April 25 (1.2 at 9 p.m., 1.0 at 9:30). Despite starting an hour earlier, grows +33% versus last week's second telecast in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.6) and +24% in total viewers (3.074 million vs. 2.486 million), pending updates. Increases by +14% on its lead-in in adults 18-49 and also grows in adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-female demos

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.4/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.6/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
