MiTú (www.mituinc.com), the popular Latino media brand and leading multi-channel network exclusively dedicated to Latino content, announced today that it will partner with Latin America-based TOUCHE' FILMS and Enchufe.TV to create groundbreaking, Latino-friendly, English language comedy formats for a U.S. based millennial audience. Enchufe.TV has exploded onto the scene and became one of YouTube's most successful Spanish language comedy channels, generating over 37 million monthly views with more than 4.9 million subscribers.

"We're wildly excited to be in business with the guys from Enchufe.tv, who are comedic pioneers in the digital space. While most of Latin America is familiar with their hilarious, professionally polished web shorts, we're thrilled to help introduce their madcap cast of characters and outrageous sketch comedy to American audiences", stated Doug Greiff, MiTu's Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer.

"We have sought numerous options for alliances in the US/English language marketplace. We chose to partner with MiTú because they have unmatched expertise in developing and distributing innovative content while helping Latino programming creators grow and succeed in a global market," stated Leonardo Robalino, Co-Founder and Director of Touché Films.

Casting for an English-speaking, Latino comedy troupe is currently underway, with production expected to commence in April 2014.

MiTú Network is leading the way in providing digital content to the fastest growing powerhouse market: U.S. Hispanics. Led by Latino TV industry veterans Doug Greiff, Beatriz Acevedo, and Roy Burstin, MiTú Network launched in the spring of 2012 and is the largest and fastest growing Latino focused multi-channel network. In just less than two years, it has grown to more than 65 million global unique viewers consuming over 220 million monthly video views and driving nearly 12M hours of engagement per month (YouTube Analytics, as of February 10, 2014).

MiTú partners with talented Latino content creators to launch and grow their English, Spanish and Portuguese-language digital video channels, expand their audiences, scale their production, and connect them with the global marketplace. MiTú currently produces and distributes programming for a young and growing global Latino audience, in the lifestyle verticals of Beauty, Food, DIY, Home and Health and recently launched its male pop culture vertical MACHO by MiTú, anchored by the sketch comedy show El Show with Chuey Martinez.

MiTú is backed by The Chernin Group LLC (TCG) along with other investors including: Allen DeBevoise, Chairman, CEO and co-founder of Machinima; Advancit Capital, a venture capital firm founded by Shari Redstone and Jason Ostheimer; Quincy Smith of the internet and media-focused merchant bank Code Advisors; and Juan Cristóbal Ferrer of Ferrer Comunicación in Mexico.
