According to The Hollywood Reporter, Meg Ryan is set to produce and star in a new half hour single-camera comedy for NBC.

Penned by Emmy nominee Marc Lawrence, the actress will star as "a sunny, devoted and desperately non-confrontational single mom who decides to return to her New York publishing house where she was once a brilliant editor to find that she now works for Brenda, the neurotic 30-year-old boss who was once her former intern. Now she must find a way to keep her boss, her teenage kids, her almost ex-husband and her meddlesome mother in law all happy, which results in her overcomplicating every situation and somehow always making it worse."

The 'Harry Met Sally' star will serve as executive producer on the project along with her manager Jane Berliner. She last appeared on the small screen in 1982's short-lived comedy 'One of the Boys,' in which she appeared alongside Mickey Rooney, Dana Carvey and Nathan Lane.
