Kate Pierson - iconic voice and founding member of the B52s, punk, new wave, genre-defying band, has released her debut solo record Guitars and Microphones, marrying party rock, psychedelia and socio-political punk. Released to widespread critical acclaim, Kate's songs are rife with girl group wit, drama, and rejection of stereotypes, and her solo offerings are big songs with bigger meanings.
