Jo Koy is set for Comedy Works South at the Landmark, January 30 - February 1, 2014.

From filling sold-out clubs across the nation to being seen weekly as a regular guest on Chelsea Lately, Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest start performing at a Las Vegas coffee house. His infectiously explosive energy on stage, insightful jokes and family inspired humor cross all boundaries and led Daily Variety to name him one of the "10 Comics to Watch."

Jo hit the "opportunity of a lifetime" when he received a standing ovation from his performance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He became one of a select few ever to receive a standing ovation. Jo has appeared on various VH1 I Love series, as well as The Joy Behar Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daly, and Jamie Foxx: Laughapalooza. He is a regular headliner touring the college circuit nationwide and performing in Comedy Clubs both in the U.S. and internationally.

A single father, Jo Koy was inspired by his son and began working on his first Comedy Central special "Don't Make Him Angry," which aired in January 2009. His much-anticipated second Comedy Central special "Lights Out" aired in October 2012 and is now available on DVD.
