Rebecca Crigler (Mike Birbiglia's Thank God for Jokes, Chris Gethard: Career Suicide) will present award-winning writer/performer Iris Bahr ("Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Svetlana," DAI) in her new, tragi-comic play I Lost You There at Cherry Lane's Studio Theatre.

The show is helmed by Andrew Russell, Producing Artistic Director of the Tony Award-winning Intiman Theatre.

I Lost You There explores death through different occupations, personal attitudes and cultural norms. Through her unique brand of witty pathos, Bahr brings to life touching and hilarious characters whose lives interconnect in surprising ways, shining the light on the one aspect of our existence that we all have in common.

Bahr's critically-acclaimed solo show, DAI (enough), had an extended hit run Off-Broadway, and won the prestigious Lucille Lortel Award for Best Solo Performance, as well as two Drama Desk and UK Stage Award nominations. DAI has been performed around the world, including at the United Nations for over 100 ambassadors and delegates. Ms. Bahr has written two travel memoirs (Dork Whore, Macchu My Picchu) that have been translated into several languages. She has starred on numerous television shows and will be reprising her role as Rachel Heinneman on the next season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Cherry Lane Late Nite, who is hosting the production, is Cherry Lane Theatre's (Angelina Fiordellisi, Founding Artistic Director; Janio Marrero and Seri Lawrence, Interim Producing Artistic Directors) experimental works program. The program presents provocative, activist, and risk-taking contemporary performances-outside of traditionally narrative straight plays. Late Nite is an opportunity for Cherry Lane to lend the theatre's historic reputation and long-established location to less formal, more innovative, multi-generational, and multi-ethnic performance artists.

I Lost You There will perform May 23-28. Tickets are $30. For more information and reservations, visit www.cherrylanetheatre.org,  ilostyouthere.com or call 866-811-4111.
