STAY DEAD! is a completely improvised horror comedy. Through the use of
various horror film tropes the cast creates an hour-long, frightening, and funny show never seen before
and (like many of the characters) never to be seen again!

This October marks the show's third year at PHIT Comedy. The cast includes seasoned STAY DEAD
performers Andrew Coppola, Lali Gill, Tom Hannigan, Brendan Kingston, Kevin Ruth, and Molly
Scullion. Gabriella Bottoni, AJ de Leon, Shannon Fahey, and Randie Welles are new this year. Mike
Marbach directs.

"We've been doing a lot of work on group storytelling, We're watching horror movies to learn tropes.
Kevin [Ruth] was even making graphs. I think it'll be the most cinematic run we've done," explained
Brendan Kingston. Tom Hannigan added "[Filmmaker] Jon Plester came in and taught us film jargon."
Mike Marbach, the director, pointed out "There's a different energy overall each year that really makes
things interesting. This year is no different. The cast is full of really fun, strong improvisers that each bring
their own particular personalities not just to the characters they portray, but to the plot work they do as the
show moves along."

Curtain time is 7:30PM on Thursday October 20th through Sunday October 23rd, as well as Thursday
October 27th through Sunday October 30th. A Halloween night show is scheduled for 10:30PM.
Advance tickets for STAY DEAD and all PHIT Comedy shows are available through the theater's website
