Dorks in Dungeons, the critically acclaimed fantasy comedy improv show will continue their adventure on October 12 at 7pm at the Seacoast Rep. Joining them this time is Portsmouth hero and Halloween Parade Grand Marshall Trevor Bartlett. The Dorks will be continuing their ongoing adventure, now in its third year, but this time with a special Halloween theme.

The Dorks recently played to a near sold-out audience for their season opener, which featured Miltos Yerolemou of Game of Thrones fame.

The show follows the exploits of a fantastical delivery service, The Special Parcel Service, as they try to make their deliveries against all odds (and their own incompetence). Game Master Brian Kelly guides the action while a band of improvisers plays the rotating cast of characters helping or hindering our heroes, and their success or failure is determined by the roll of a 20-sided die.

"The season opener was a huge success, and we know people have really high expectations after a show like that," says Producer Kathleen Cavalaro. "We've definitely got some surprises in store for this one too."

Dorks in Dungeons has toured around America and even into Canada. This year, they plan to return to Halifax, Nova Scotia for two shows at HalCon, and will perform at GenCon, the world's largest gaming convention. They have written a book about the game they designed and play onstage. Most recently, the Dorks performed to a packed room at Boston ComicCon. The third season of Dorks is generously sponsored by Pickwick's Mercantile.
