Tonight, February 15, 2014, two-time Grammy Award-winner, and 5 time nominee, comedian Lewis Black, will present his current tour, The Rant is Due. Known for his no-holds-barred desire to pick apart the socio-political landscape, Black has an uncanny ability to take on just about any subject matter and find something worth taunting. His ability to articulate these "rants" into a well thought out philosophical argument has earned him numerous awards, multiple Comedy Central and HBO standup specials, and a long list of movie appearances.

All kidding aside, Lewis Black actively supports many charitable organizations and has performed in 3 tours with the USO, performing at bases across the Middle East and Europe. Black has also recently taken part in a very special project called "Comedy Warriors: Healing Through Humor," in which he joined Zach Galifianakis, B.J. Novak, and Bob Saget to coach a handful of severely wounded vets in the art of standup comedy. The documentary follows the "Comedy Warriors" as they write and perform comedy acts based around their poignant life stories and their subsequent reflection on the role of humor in their rehabilitation.

Tickets are priced from $44.50-$74.50. For more information, call the Box Office at 941-953-3368 or visit www.VanWezel.org.
