Abbey Pub Hosts Stand Up for Danny Comedy Show 1/26
Hosted by attorney Brian Stephenson, Stand Up For Danny is a night of laughs and love featuring national comics to benefit the Danny Did Foundation. A full time attorney and part-time comic, Brian Stephenson began experiencing his first seizures only months ago, and he is now taking action to combat his diagnosis of epilepsy via support of Danny Did. Doors will open Thursday Jan. 26th at 7 pm with music by John LaMantia and his band, Love and Evolution. The comic lineup kicks off at 8 pm with Marc Mulvey, who recently finished 3rd in the World Series of Comedy; followed by Mike Ostrowski, who has opened for Jerry Seinfeld; leading to the headliner, Mike Toomey, who is seen regularly on the WGN morning news and performs nationwide. The 90-minute show will end at 9:30pm. Tickets are $20 each and all proceeds benefit Danny Did.
