This holiday season, the acclaimed wind quintet, WindSync, known for adventurous programs, fiery performances, and unique stage presence, will premiere an interactive and unforgettable version of The Nutcracker for children and adults alike.

A Pocket Nutcracker, on Sunday, December 14, is an abridged and entirely new version of the classic holiday story performed in costume. The family-friendly program also includes renditions of traditional holiday music with WindSync's signature energy and charm.

Hailed by the Houston Chronicle as "revolutionary," WindSync is a fresh and energetic quintet internationally recognized for dramatic and engaging interpretations of classical music. A winner of the prestigious Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh International Competition, this dynamic ensemble plays exclusively from memory, allowing the performers to connect with each other and with the audience.

A Pocket Nutcracker will premiere during a special matinee on Sunday, December 14, at 3:00 p.m. in the Met's Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium. Tickets start at $30.

For tickets, visit www.metmuseum.org/tickets or call 212-570-3949. Tickets are also available at the Great Hall Box Office, which is open Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Tickets include admission to the Museum on day of performance.
Prices are subject to change.
