The Richmond Symphony Chorus to Hold Auditions for New Members, 7/1 and 7/8

The Richmond Symphony Chorus will audition prospective new members at Epiphany Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 1 and July 8, 6:30-9:30pm. Visit www.rschorus.com/auditions to read about the Chorus and its audition process, access audition preparation materials, and complete a short audition questionnaire. The deadline for submitting the questionnaire is Friday, June 20.

The Chorus rehearses weekly on Tuesday evenings at Richmond CenterStage from late August through May. Additional rehearsals take place during performance weeks.

This season, the Chorus performs Mahler's Symphony No. 2 and will collaborate with the Richmond Ballet in performances of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. It addition, it will perform the "Let It Snow" Christmas Pops concerts and Handel's Messiah in early December. In May, 2015, the Chorus closes its season with performances of Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms" and Borodin's "Polovtsian Dances."
