Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay Chorus Performs at Courthouse Center Stage Today

The Narragansett Bay Chorus is the performing unit of the Providence Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society which is the largest male singing organization in the world! Competitively, the chorus has been the Society’s District winner on fifteen separate occasions. They have toured extensively around the United States, Canada and England. Based in the Greater Providence area since 1949, they will bring a cappella music in the barbershop style to the Courthouse Center Stage.

The program will include the fabulous four female singers calling themselves Sync or Swim and the highly accomplished foursome; Trade Secrets, who have collectively won more Barbershop Harmony Society Championships than any other foursome in the Northeast. The members of the Trade Secrets have appeared on a variety of television shows as far back as the Smothers Brothers to more currently with Conan O’Brien and sang with musicians from The Kingston Trio, Victor Borge and Maureen McGovern. The foursome includes, Bill Wright, Tenor, Bob O’Connell, Lead, Rick Wright, Baritone and Mike Maino, Bass.
