Mahler's Symphony No. 2 is superlative in every way-the most sublime music, the most powerful evocation of beauty and the afterlife, and the most successful and popular of Mahler's works during his life. Hearing it live will be, without question, one of the most thrilling musical events of a lifetime. It is a massive undertaking for any orchestra and chorus, and this will be a monumental event in the history of the Springfield Symphony. You absolutely won't want to miss it!
